19/05/2008 I took ages trying to find the right bbq, having been a coal lover for years I was always a little cautious of gas as I always remembered years ago watching my grandad fight to save his sausages through what could only be described as an inferno, that is until I saw a flatbed gas bbq similar but much smaller than the Mercury at a friends house. As I cook for large numbers I decided to buy the six burner. On delivery I was amazed to see two boxes and struggled to move these on my own!!
When I built the bbq I thankfully had help, definately a two person build. Once together after about an hour the first impression was the size, it`s huge. But boy does it look impressive. I tested the bbq and prior to firing it up oiled the grills to smoke off the newness taste. I arranged a family bbq and had around 30 to feed I was amazed at how much food can be put on this bbq, I had 12 quarter pounders, 24 sausages and over a dozen pieces of chicken on for my first go with still some room to move things round. Having never used a gas bbq before I was amazed at how easy it was. You just switch on wait for 5 minutes and away you go, you still get the smokey flavour thanks to the lava rocks and burning fat. Loads of storage for food and for drinks and the gas bottle holder is a great idea, a very solid and sturdy bbq, knocks the socks off all the others I looked at. This bbq is a show stopper and everyone commented on it. Would I recommend this bbq? Of course I would, it`s fantastic. Best buy for a long time and a great price too. I am sure that this bbq will be used for a long long time to come.

17/09/2007 Excellent product. Took 40 minutes to put together. Very sturdy. Used it to cater for over 100 at a school fete with no problems at all. Priced extremely competitively. BBQ delivered next day but forgot regulator - customer service sorted out problem quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend this company.
