Benefits of Flatbed Barbecues

Cost – Flatbed bbqs are usually cheaper than hooded barbecues

Larger Cooking Area – Due to the design you get a much bigger cooking area

Easy to Clean – all you need to do it turn on the heat for a few minutes and use a wire brush. All of cooking run off is collected in a detachable container.

Downside of Flatbed Barbecues

Rotisseries – these cannot be used on flatbed bbqs.

Wood smoking – it is not possible to wood smoke on a flatbed bbq.

Benefits of Hooded Barbecues

Range – There is a huge range of hooded barbecues to choose from.

Wood Smoking – Give your food the natural bbq flavour with wood smoker chips.

Heat – Hooded bbqs keep the heat contained so they are more efficient.

Downside of Hooded Barbecues

Cost – Hooded bbqs are usually more expensive
