The BillyOh Tasman 400 barbecue is the upgrade to the highly popular Tasman 300. A stylish two burner BBQ with the added advantage of a side burner, ideal for cooking those sauces and additions. A great BBQ for the small garden or patio area or someone wishing to try a gas BBQ for the first time. A true workhorse with reliable results.
Features
The 400 comes with all the features of the 300 and upgraded features like swing away warming rack and added side burner. The side burner can be used to cook pasta or sauces and anything cooked using a pan or wok. The swing away warming rack is another great added feature which is ideal for keeping food warm and ready to serve without burning. The Tasman 400 also comes equipped with a propane / patio gas clip on regulator and hose included and a weatherproof cover to protect from the elements when not in use.
Gas and Regulator
We include a propane/patio gas clip on gas regulator as standard with this bbq and recommend that you use propane gas or patio gas to achieve the best barbecuing experience. However this barbecue can use either propane / patio gas or butane LPG gas.
We recommend propane/patio gas as it will supply gas all year round, even on cold winter days. Butane bottles however tend to supply sufficient gas during the summer, but its performance may well be reduced once temperatures drop below 10 degrees C. Please be aware that if you intend to use butane that a butane regulator is not supplied and we do not stock these items.
Grill Cooking
The burner heats up the lava rock underneath the grill, which in turn heats up the food on the grill. The natural food juices produced during cooking fall onto the hot lava rock below and vaporise. The subsequent rising smoke bastes the food, as it travels upwards, imparting that unique barbecue flavour.
Roasting Hood Cooking
Barbecues equipped with a roasting hood give the option of cooking with hood closed to form an ‘oven’ for roasting food, such as joints of meat , whole chickens, etc.

Large Cooking Area
The Tasman 400 Boasts a large cooking area of 36.6cmm x 50.8cm and an additional swing away warming rack. The wire grill is chrome plated making cooking and cleaning up afterwards much easier. The Tasman 400 is also equipped with lava rocks (included) which keep the heat diffused across the grill and provide the traditional barbecue flavour.

This BillyOh barbecue is supplied with a propane / patio gas clip on gas regulator.
Cover Included
This BillyOh barbecue comes with a weatherproof black pvc cover, to protect it from the elements when not in use.
Easy To Use
The Tasman 400 is very simple to use.It is equipped with a pre-assembled piezo push button ignition to make starting it up more simple and heat output can be easily controlled with two simple to use knobs.
Sideburner
The addition of a sideburner allows for a variety of different recipes to be tried outside. Sauces or pasta or anything using a pan or wok can easily be prepared and cooked outside. With a sideburner one side and a folding shelf the other this barbecue provides space for cooking and preparation.

5 BBQ's done, hundreds more to go. Great sized Bar-be for the two of us or large parties, you can just keep cooking in any weather.
Excellent BBQ. It took about 1 hour to set up as instructions aren't overly clear but well worth it once we worked them out. It cooks beautifully and has a very large cooking area. I cooked for 12 people and it was so quick and the meat was tender and all good. If you want a great gas BBQ get this one.
We have used the Tasman BBQ on 5 occasions since purchase and have enjoyed everyone, and look forward to many more before the summer is out. Many thanks.
